Never send your passwords, API keys, device credentials, Guest Pass codes, or an unredacted QR code. We do not need a copy of your media library to start helping.

Redeem a Guest Pass

1. Open the profile picture menu in the header, or MyLocStream on iPhone.
2. Open House memberships and choose the Guest Pass redemption flow.
3. Enter or scan the pass you received and join the House.

A Guest membership gives access only to what that House owner has shared. It is separate from your own House’s outbound Guest slots. Access may end when a pass expires or the owner revokes it.

Connect to a House

The House runs on a Mac. Keep the serving app open and the media available, and ask the owner to approve your device if required. If a House stops appearing, check the Mac and network before removing or re-pairing your device.

Joining a House does not automatically grant access to every title. The owner controls membership and Guest permissions.

Playback or downloads won’t start

1. Confirm the House Mac is online and still has the original media.
2. Try a local-network connection to separate connectivity problems from media problems.
3. Check that your membership and device access are still active.
4. If the problem persists, note the title’s file format, the error shown, and your app/device versions.

Only completed downloads should be used for offline playback. If a download is interrupted, reconnect to the House and use the app’s download controls.

Purchases and restoring

Duo and Max are optional one-time household-capacity purchases. Open Plans in the app to see Apple’s current regional price and use Restore Purchases with the Apple Account that made the purchase.

Eligible active Duo owners receive the reduced-price Max upgrade automatically. If it does not appear, restore purchases first and confirm the original Duo purchase is still active. A Guest expansion adds five outbound slots; it does not add profiles or personal-device capacity.

Apple handles payments and refunds. For a purchase issue, tell us the product name and the error shown. Do not send payment-card details.
