Less looking. More watching.
A collection that
feels like yours.
Bring the media you own or have permission to use. LocStream gives your movies and shows a home—without selling you another catalog.

02 / Your House
One House.
Your own profile.
Host a LocStream House on a Mac and connect from your iPhone or iPad. Profiles keep household access organized; approved devices keep access intentional.
The serving Mac needs to be available. Remote access depends on your network setup and the permissions you have been granted.

Not your whole library.
Guest Passes let a House owner choose which titles to share. Joining someone else’s House stays separate from the passes you offer from your own.

A few useful answers.
Does LocStream include movies or shows?
No. LocStream is a player and library for media you own or have permission to use. It does not sell or supply a streaming catalog.
Where does my House run?
A Mac hosts your LocStream House. Other approved devices connect to it. The Mac and its media must be available; remote access also requires a suitable network connection and setup.
Can I join a House if I already own one?
Yes. Open House memberships from your profile picture or MyLocStream, then redeem the Guest Pass. Your inbound membership is separate from your own House’s outbound Guest slots.
Is this the same as AirPlay?
No. LocStream’s device-to-device playback handoff is its own flow. Do not assume every AirPlay receiver or third-party player is supported.
